As I near the wedding day you have helped me prepare for nearly ten months, I am faced with an agonizing feeling I would have never guessed – I am sad to be losing a great organizer, a great talent of incredible class – but most of all, a great friend! You have been an incredible resource to perfectly orchestrate this day to be the best possible combination of our personal style combined with your elegant instinct that I so truly needed! However, beyond the needed guidance for literally every detail of the wedding, you have been there at all the unexpected times that have truly proven to be the extra mile of help I needed. Whether it was borrowing your pearls at the last second for my bridal portraits or depending on you for therapy sessions, you have been the rock that has held this year-long planning sessions together. I am truly sad to be ending what has been a truly fun and hilarious journey with a class-act lady – thank you for everything you have done to help me! Zac and I will truly be indebted to you forever! Thank you again for EVERYTHING you have done!

I don’t think I could ever find the words to express my gratitude to you.  Our wedding was everything I ever dreamed it would be and so much more.  Every detail was perfection.  Thanks to you I was able to relax and enjoy.  I will be forever grateful to have had the most lovely event planner in town.

When I think of us I remember all the fun and crazy times we have had since high school.  Wow, look at us now! It has taken me a while to put together my thoughts, because I can just not thank you enough for everything you did for our wedding! I just wanted to thank Keely Thorne Events for providing unparalleled wedding coordination for our daughter, Ashley’s, Big Day on March 10^th!  Jennifer, from the start, took control and handled the organization and planning of the wedding in a personal but always very professional manner.  Jennifer listened to what our vision and expectations were for the wedding and was then able to place us with vendor that were absolutely perfect for us and that were able to provide the wedding of Ashley’s dreams.

I live in Pittsburgh, PA. and was not always able to be in Houston to attend appointments with Ashley.  Jennifer was always there to support Ashley and help her, as needed, which meant so much to us.

One of the most important things that we wanted was to have a coordinator that we could depend on to communicate with us.  Jennifer always responded promptly to our emails and calls. She never, not once, failed to respond to us!

I hate that we never had the pleasure to meet you, but, as I’m sure you already know, you can be assured that with a coordinator like Jennifer Hobson, your company is in very capable hands. Jennifer is a jewel and was so special to us.  She is a true asset!

I want to express my extreme gratitude for everything you did leading up to the party and on Saturday.  The party was a smash.  Everyone had a great time both young and old alike.  The decorations really set the theme and the dessert table was AMAZING!!!  I think that people were afraid to eat anything at first but eventually dove in and the City Kitchen folks were great about constantly replenishing.  I LOVED the food.  The wait staff was solicitous without getting in the way.  I loved that they stationed one person at the door to greet people allowing me to circulate to the guests.  They are now my first choice for events in the future.

You are the best.  My husband remarked that he liked you very much.  That is a compliment because he usually only notices when things do not go right instead of how well it was all orchestrated.   If this was any small indication, the wedding should be fabulous.

We’re not sure where to begin…when we started planning our wedding 14 months ago, we didn’t really know what to expect.  We had a crude vision of what we wanted our wedding day to look like and just hoped we could find someone capable enough to take over the everyday tasks of coordinating vendors and herding our family and wedding party around on the day of the wedding.  In a way we felt like we were paying for our own sanity throughout the process and only hoped to come out the other side a little less stressed than had we chosen to plan the wedding on our own.  What we got was a dream.  You bought into our vision from the first day we met and it wasn’t long before you began bringing us creative ideas and suggestions for the tiniest details that we never would have thought of on our own.  It was the combination of all these tiny little details and your tireless work ethic that created what was, in the words of countless guests in attendance, the most stunning wedding they have ever been a part of. From the outside, it looked effortless.  And this sense of calm that you brought to the both of us was incredibly important and allowed us to relax and enjoy the day with our family and friends without a single worry in the world.  But if you looked closely enough, the signs of the incredible work ethic and passion for the job that you and each of your team members had were always present.  I’ll never forget Allison literally running up and down the hills at Barton Creek in her heels all afternoon trying to keep us on schedule and in line.  And if you would have told us at the wedding that the table vendor showed up 6 hours late we would have laughed in your face.  But you somehow managed to set up the most meticulously planned wedding in a little over 2 hours and never once let either of us stress out about any detail. We found ourselves multiple times at the wedding stepping away from the dance floor and the crowds to walk around and soak it all in.  Each time we stepped away, we noticed another little detail that made us smile and reiterated just how much thought and hard work you put into planning and executing the wedding.  It is these little moments that stand out in our minds and that we will have with us whenever we think back to that day, and for that we have only you to thank. As we said previously, when we started planning the wedding we weren’t sure what to expect from a wedding planner.  We probably would have settled for someone who would have executed on the simple plans that we originally brought to the table.  What we got in you was someone who was incredibly passionate with a tireless work ethic that took a great deal of pride in delivering not only what we asked for but the countless little details we never could have dreamed were possible.  There really aren’t words to express how thankful we are to have had you play such a big part in our wedding.  We now have a lifetime of memories that only exist because of your passion and hard work in helping to plan and execute what was, hands down, the best day of our lives.

I’m not sure where to begin to thank you. When we found out Courtney wanted to get married at West Ranch, I knew to call my mom to help me find a wedding planner. The first and only one she told me about was Keely Thorne Events. I filled out the on line form and within a day you called to make an appointment. I knew you had a challenge on your hands us living in Lafayette, LA, you in Houston, and the wedding in Round Mountain, TX. Wow, what an undertaking! Then after the first meeting, I was very comfortable with Keely’s faith in your ability to take on this adventure. There were a lot of decisions to be made, but you did a ton of the research before presenting anything to us, which was greatly appreciated. From the beginning of this journey you have made us feel comfortable and that we were your only client (we know we weren’t). you are great at your job and very professional. I am finally wrapping up all things wedding related which brings happiness, relief, and sadness. The party was amazing! I’m finally finished recovering! I hadn’t realized how exhausted I was! But it was a great turnout it looked beautiful and everyone had a great time! Thanks so much Allison you were heaven sent throughout this whole process, couldn’t have pulled it off without you!

I wanted to take a moment to congratulate you on the outstanding services you provide and in particular, Jennifer Hobson. We hired Jennifer (referred by current client, Mary Neal) for services and consultation for the two weeks prior to my daughter’s wedding on October 13^th. She was always professional, gracious, and had a great attitude.  She was always a step ahead of me and took care of all the details before and during the wedding/reception.  My daughter did not want to draw attention to herself at the end of reception.  Jennifer came up with an idea which was acceptable to Nicole, gave closure to the evening and resulting in an awesome photograph, one of my favorite.  Most important was my confidence in Jennifer allowed me to relax and enjoy the evening.  Subsequently, my daughter was calm and relaxed also.  It was a wonderful evening.
